Comment fonctionne un abonnement?

Lorsque vous exécutez l'Assistant d'abonnement contenu dans CV Expert, votre produit contacte un ordinateur CV Expert inc. via Internet, afin d'obtenir les dernières informations sur l'abonnement. Si vous disposez d'un abonnement valide, votre produit permettra une utilisation conforme à la version complète, celui-ci téléchargera les dernières informations et vous proposera les dernières mises à niveau lorsque disponibles. Si votre abonnement est sur le point d'expirer, vous recevrez un message vous avertissant que votre abonnement se termine. Si votre abonnement a expiré, votre produit ne pourra permettre une utilisation conforme à la version complète. Par contre, même avec un abonnement expiré, vous pouvez toujours recevoir les mises à niveau via l'Assistant de mise à niveau de CV Expert, mais leur utilisation nécessite un abonnement valide.

La « licence grand public » désigne une version du logiciel, identifiée comme telle, destinée aux particuliers dont l'utilisation est restreinte exclusivement dans un cadre personnel. « Licence grand public » est strictement réservée aux particuliers excluant l'installation et l'utilisation dans un cadre professionnel ou commercial ou rendue disponible à plus d'un utilisateur (individu), n'étant pas par conséquent destinée à l'usage professionnel des établissements d'enseignement, des entreprises, des compagnies et des organismes à but lucratif ou à but non lucratif, ou à toute autre société légalement constituée. De plus, il est interdit d'utiliser la licence grand public à l'intérieur d'un établissement d'enseignement, d'une entreprise, d'une compagnie et d'un organisme à but lucratif ou à but non lucratif, ou à toute autre société légalement constituée. Toute utilisation qui ne respecte pas ces conditions, entre autre l'utilisation professionnelle de la licence grand public, est strictement interdite.

La licence grand public permet l'installation et l'utilisation du produit sur une seule station de travail.

* Logiciel « Licence grand public ». Cette licence vous donne le droit d'installer et d'utiliser le logiciel sur un seul ordinateur, ou d'installer et conserver le logiciel sur un périphérique de stockage ou sur plus d'un ordinateur à condition que vous déteniez une licence pour chaque ordinateur sur lequel le logiciel est installé et exécuté. Une licence du logiciel ne peut pas être partagée, installée ou utilisée simultanément sur différents ordinateurs. Vous êtes autorisé à enregistrer le code d'abonnement du PRODUIT LOGICIEL afin de bénéficier de la version complète pour la période déterminée par le service d'abonnement uniquement si vous avez payé la licence d'utilisation du PRODUIT LOGICIEL pour chaque ordinateur sur lequel le PRODUIT LOGICIEL est installé et si CV Expert inc. vous a remis ce ou ces codes. Vous comprenez que la licence grand public est destinée à une installation et une utilisation sur un poste de travail situé à l'intérieur d'une résidence d'habitation ou d'un logement et il est par conséquent interdit d'installer et d'utiliser cette licence à l'intérieur d'un établissement commercial appartenant à un établissement d'enseignement, une entreprise, une compagnie et un organisme à but lucratif ou à but non lucratif, ou à toute autre société légalement constituée. Il est aussi strictement interdit d'utiliser la licence grand public pour fournir du soutien technique à des utilisateurs de licences « grands publics » et « institutionnelles » à moins d'avoir payé une licence institutionnelle pour le faire même s'il s'agit dans ce cas d'une licence grand public, la nature de l'utilisation étant considérée comme une licence institutionnelle.

* Stockage/utilisation en réseau « licence grand public ». Vous êtes autorisé à stocker ou installer un exemplaire du PRODUIT LOGICIEL sur l'ORDINATEUR** afin de permettre à vos autres ordinateurs d'utiliser le PRODUIT LOGICIEL sur un réseau interne, ainsi qu'à distribuer le PRODUIT LOGICIEL vers vos autres ordinateurs au moyen d'un réseau interne. Par contre, vous devez payer une licence pour chaque ordinateur sur lequel le PRODUIT LOGICIEL est installé.

La « licence institutionnelle » désigne une version du logiciel, identifiée comme telle, destinée à tous les types d'utilisateurs, aux individus, des établissements d'enseignement, des entreprises, des compagnies et des organismes à but lucratif ou à but non lucratif, ou à toute autre société légalement constituée.

Options de la licence institutionnelle pour établissement

La licence institutionnelle permet de créer un nombre illimité de CV pour un nombre illimité de métiers et professions à intégrer aux CV créés. Elle permet l'installation sur un nombre illimité d'ordinateurs d'une même adresse postale.

* Logiciel « Licence institutionnelle ». Cette licence dont toutes les fonctions sont activées et dont l'enregistrement du produit a été créé par l'utilisateur final, vous donne le droit d'installer et d'utiliser le logiciel sur un nombre illimité d'ordinateurs en autant qu'ils soient physiquement installés à la même adresse indiquée sur la facture d'achat, et d'installer et conserver le logiciel sur un périphérique de stockage, tel qu'un serveur réseau, à condition que votre statut désigné sur la facture d'achat vous donne le droit à ces spécificités. On y retrouve par exemple, sans en limiter ce qui précède, les organismes légalement constitués, les établissements d'enseignement, les entreprises privées et publiques, les gouvernements, et toute autre entité légalement constituée. Vous êtes autorisé à enregistrer le code d'abonnement du PRODUIT LOGICIEL pour chacun des ordinateurs faisant partie de la même adresse indiquée sur la facture d'achat afin de bénéficier de la version complète et cela uniquement si vous avez payé la licence d'utilisation du PRODUIT LOGICIEL et si CV Expert inc. vous a remis ce ou ces codes d'abonnement pour chacun des ordinateurs. Les établissements disposant de plusieurs succursales, bâtisses, facultés ou pavillons doivent payer une licence pour chaque succursale, faculté ou pavillon où le logiciel est installé. Par exemple, une université qui installe une licence dans deux facultés d'un même site universitaire doit payer deux licences institutionnelles et peut installer le PRODUIT LOGICIEL sur un nombre illimité d'ordinateurs pour chacune de ses facultés. L'organisme, l'établissement ou l'entreprise disposant de plusieurs points de services dont les adresses sont différentes doit payer une licence institutionnelle pour chacun de ses points de service.

* Stockage/utilisation en réseau « licence institutionnelle ». Vous êtes autorisé à stocker ou installer un exemplaire du PRODUIT LOGICIEL sur l'ORDINATEUR afin de permettre à vos autres ordinateurs d'utiliser le PRODUIT LOGICIEL sur un réseau interne, ainsi qu'à distribuer le PRODUIT LOGICIEL vers vos autres ordinateurs au moyen d'un réseau interne en autant qu’ils soient physiquement installés à la même adresse indiquée sur la facture d’achat.

** « l'ORDINATEUR » désigne un ordinateur unique, identifiée comme telle, sur lequel est installé le PRODUIT LOGICIEL.

What is the subscription service?

What is the duration of the subscription service?

Home license

The duration of your home license subscription is of 1 month. See the update price of the subscription.

When your subscription is coming to an end, the Subscription assistant while advise you so that you can renew it. Subscribing to a subscription renewal for a period of 1 month provides you with continuous access to the software for the duration of the subscription, including the updates and the technical support.

Professional license (establishment, organization, private enterprise, government)

The duration of the subscription for the professional license varies according to the number of months bought. See the update for the subscription

When your subscription comes to an end, the Subscription assistant will advise you so that you can renew it. Subscribing to a subscription renewal provides you with continuous access to the complete version of the CV Expert software for the duration of the chosen subscription, including updates and technical support.

How does the subscription work?

When you execute the Subscription assistant contained in CV Expert, your product contacts the CV Expert inc. computer through Internet, so as to obtain the latest information on the subscription. If you dispose of a valid subscription, your product will allow a conform use to the complete version, same will download the latest information and will propose to you the latest updates when available. If your subscription is about to expire, you will receive a message advising that your subscription is coming to an end. If you subscription has expired, your product will not allow a conform use of the complete version. On the other hand, even with an expired subscription, you can still receive the updates through the CV Expert’s Update assistant, but their use requires a valid subscription.

Options for the professional license for establishment

The “home license” indicates a version of the software, identified as such, intended for particulars whose use is exclusively restricted to a personal surrounding. “Home license” is strictly reserved to particulars excluding the installation and use in a professional or commercial surrounding or made available to more than one user (individual), as it is not consequently intended for companies and non-lucrative and lucrative organizations, or any other legally constituted entity. Furthermore, it is forbidden to use the home license inside a teaching establishment, an enterprise, a company or a non-lucrative or lucrative organization, or any other legally constituted entity. All use not respected by these conditions, for instance the professional use of the home license, is strictly forbidden.

The home license allows the installation and use of the product for a single work station.

* Software “home license”. This license gives you the right to install and use the software on a single computer, or to install and keep the software on a storage peripheral or on more than one computer provided that you detain a license for each computer on which the software is installed and executed. One license of the software cannot be shared, installed or used simultaneously on different computers. You are authorized to register the subscription code of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT so as to benefit from the complete version for the period determined by the subscription service only if you have paid the license of use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for each computer on which the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is installed and if CV Expert inc. gave you said code(s). You understand that the home license is intended for one installation and one use on a work station located inside a home or an apartment and it is consequently forbidden to install or use this license inside a commercial establishment belonging to a teaching establishment, an enterprise, a company or a non-lucrative or lucrative organization, or any other legally constituted entity. It is also strictly forbidden to use the home license to provide technical support to users of the “home” and “professional” licenses unless you have paid for a professional license to do so even though that in this case it is a home license, the nature of the use is considered to be as of one of a professional license.

* Storage / network use “home license”. You are authorized to store or install an exemplary of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on the COMPUTER** as to allow to your other users the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on an internal network, as well as to distribute the SOFTWARE PRODUCT towards your other computers by means of an internal network. On the other hand, you can pay for a license for each computer on which the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is installed.

The “professional license” indicates a version of the software, identified as such, intended for all types of users, individuals, teaching establishments, enterprises, companies and non-lucrative and lucrative organizations, or any other legally constituted entities.

Options of the professional license for establishment

The professional license allows creating an unlimited amount of resumes for an unlimited amount of jobs and professions to be integrated to your resumes you created. It allows the installation on an unlimited amount of computers under the same postal address.

* Software “professional license”. This license whose entire functions are activated and whose registration of the product has been created by the end user, gives you the right to install and use the software on an unlimited amount of computers in as much as they are physically installed at the same address indicated on the purchase invoice, and to install and keep the software on a storage peripheral, such as a network server, provided that your designated statute on the purchase invoice gives you the right to these specificities. We can find for example, without limiting what is preceding, legally constituted organizations, teaching establishments, private and public enterprises, the governments, and any other legally constituted entity. You are authorized to register the subscription code of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for each computers forming part of the same address indicated on the purchase invoice so as to benefit from the complete version and that only if you have paid the license of use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and if CV Expert inc. gave you the subscription code(s) for each computers. The establishments disposing of many branches, buildings, faculties or houses must pay a license for each branch, faculty or house where the software is installed. For example, an university installs one license in two faculties of the same university site, it must pay two professional licenses and can install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on an unlimited amount of computers for each of its faculties. The organization, establishment or enterprise disposing of many points of services which addresses are different must pay for one professional license for each of its points of service.

* Storage / network use “professional license”. You are authorized to store or install an exemplary of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on the COMPUTER so as to allow your other computers to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on an internal network, as well as distribute the SOFTWARE PRODUCT towards your other computers by means of an internal network in so much as it has to be physically installed at the same address indicated on the purchase invoice.

** the “COMPUTER” designates a unique computer, identified as such, on which is installed the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
